A LOOK AT THE LAST FEW MONTHS IN PICTURES!!!

While finally having enough time to update the website, I decided to create our update with some of the activities captured in pictures. It has been a whirlwind the last couple of months with holiday programs, numerous food drives and increasing needs. This ministry has been beyond blessed with donations, both in-kind and monetary. With the help of our many volunteers, we created an atmosphere that captured the true spirit of Christmas. As we begin this new year my goals as director will be to assist individuals in our community with obtaining some of the tools needed to become self-sufficient, while still supplying the critical needs of food, clothing, and financial assistance. This ministry hopes to increase awareness throughout this community through education and presentation. We cannot do this without your assistance.

As you glance at the pictures and subtitles below, remember that we are all our brother's keeper. Each of these volunteers have comitted to making our community a better place. Our giving spirit should not just exist throughout the holiday season. Let us take it and spread it throughout the year.

Some of our young volunteers helping with the Holiday Bazaar and Food Drive in November. Over nine vendors set up tents and sold products ranging from Tupperware to Hairbows. This event, set up by Courtney Darnell and Shauna Biggerstaff, brought in over 2000 lbs of food and $1000 in monetary donations. With the assistance and dedication of these wonderful ladies, we hope to make this an annual event.

Over 250 Thanksgiving meals were distributed to qualified families over a three day period. This program required many volunteer hours over what is normally required to run the ministry on a daily basis. With a great group of volunteers and a very active board of directors, we pulled it off without too many glitches.
